The weather forecast for this week’s Players Championship predicts many days of inclement weather, including rain, wind, and even sub-zero temperatures by Sunday.
Thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday night, with more on the way for the first two days of competition and Saturday morning. On the weekend, the wind will build up, with wind-advisory speeds of 20-30 mph expected on Saturday, and temperatures will drop dramatically in time for the final round.
According to Tuesday’s Tour report, here’s a day-by-day breakdown of what to expect:
THURSDAY: Rain and thunderstorms are possible, with an 80 percent chance of rain; temperatures will range from 64 to 77 degrees; wind will be from the southwest at 8 to 16 miles per hour.

SUNDAY: Sunny, breezy, and cold with a 0% chance of rain. Low of 36 degrees, high of 54 degrees; wind N/NE 15-25 miles per hour
