The New Year has arrived, and the PGA Tour season is only a few days away. The Sentry Tournament of Champions kicks off on the Plantation Course at Kapalua on Thursday, January 6, with one of the strongest fields in tournament history participating in Maui, Hawaii.
With the exception of Rory McIlroy, 39 of the 40 players eligible for the winners-only event are expected to compete. All winners of PGA Tour events in the calendar year 2021, as well as Olympic gold medallist Xander Schauffele, qualified. This will be the season’s tenth official tournament in 2021-22.
The event will be broadcast on Golf Channel and NBC Sports. Here’s a glance at the TV schedule (all times are in Eastern Standard Time):
