According to reports, the 2024 Solheim Cup will be held in the city that has hosted four Presidents Cups.
According to Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols, the next Solheim Cup will be held in the United States at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. The Solheim Cup will be held at Finca Cortesin in Spain next year, and with the biennial event going back to even years due to changes in the Ryder Cup calendar, it will be the first time since 2002-03 that there will be back-to-back Solheim Cups.
The Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, which opened in 1991 and was built by the course’s namesake, hosted three of the first four Presidents Cups, in 1994, 1996, and 2000. It also hosted the PGA Tour’s Quicken Loans National in 2015.
