Ryan Brehm won the Puerto Rico Open on Sunday with one of the most clutch performances in recent memory.

Brehm needed to win in his final start on a Minor Medical Extension in order to maintain his PGA Tour card. He can easily do that.

Brehm won his first Tour victory by six strokes after closing with a 5-under 67. In fact, in his 68th career start, it was his first top-10 result on the Tour. Brehm didn’t make a bogey in the last round, despite the strain on his shoulders.

Brehm received a two-year exemption as well as the rest of the year as a result of his victory. He also took home some much-needed FedExCup points and cash.
