The betting favorite at this week’s Wells Fargo Championship is Rory McIlroy, who is making his comeback after a final-round 64 and a runner-up performance at the Masters.

The typical Wells Fargo location, TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, just outside of Washington, D.C., in Potomac, Maryland, has taken over hosting duties this year because Quail Hollow is hosting the Presidents Cup. The course has hosted a number of Tour tournaments in the past, including the Quicken Loans National in 2017 and 2018. These events were won by Kyle Stanley and Francesco Molinari, respectively. McIlroy did not participate in either event.
Abraham Ancer, who is currently at +2500 odds, tied for fourth place in 2018. Rickie Fowler, who finished T-3 and solo 12th in those two Quicken Loans events, is +12500 to win this week.
