Rory McIlroy has inked a long-term equipment deal with TaylorMade Golf, according to the company’s announcement on Tuesday.
Since signing with TaylorMade in 2017, the current World No. 7 has used the Carlsbad, California-based company’s clubs and golf balls. TaylorMade announced the multi-year deal but did not specify how long it would last.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with the top equipment business in golf for the last several years,” McIlroy, one of the best drivers on the PGA Tour, said in a statement announcing the development. “I’m thrilled to say that TaylorMade clubs and balls will be in my bag for many years to come. My decision to stay with Team TaylorMade was based on a combination of dedicated personnel and unparalleled performance.”
Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa, and Scottie Scheffler are among McIlroy’s Tour teammates.
