Prize money payments for each PGA Tour participant in the 2022 Valspar Championship

Playing well on the PGA Tour pays off, folks. Sam Burns, this week’s winner, can attest to that.

To defend his title at the 2022 Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Florida, the 25-year-old beat rookie Davis Riley with a 33-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole. Burns, who is the event’s fourth two-time winner, will pocket $1,404,000 for his efforts and now has three PGA Tour victories under his belt. Riley will be compensated $850,200.
