Max Homa ultimately paid off his bet with fellow Tour player J.T. Poston after more than three months.
Homa, a Dodgers fan, and Poston, a Braves fan, bet on the World Series back in October. The two players agreed that if Atlanta won in six games, Homa would wear a Braves jersey on the 16th hole at the WM Phoenix Open as the loser.

So there was Homa, wearing a white No. 1 jersey with “Poston” on the back, on TPC Scottsdale’s renowned hole, the rowdiest in pro golf, on Friday. Poston, who had teed off in the morning wave, was also present.
Homa told the Arizona Republic, “I had to wear that terrible shirt, everyone performed the chop, it was horrific.”
Homa, who won a similar bet during the previous year’s NLCS and got to take over Poston’s Twitter account for the day, didn’t keep the jersey on for long, which came as no surprise.
He flung it into the seats after signing it with a “Go Dodgers.”
