Highlights from Henrik Stenson’s fourth round at Hero
The Hero World Challenge returns to Albany Golf Club in The Bahamas after a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a tournament hosted by Tiger Woods, the FedExCup champions, PGA Tour players and international celebrities are all in the field.

McIlroy 9th, Hovland 6th And Bryson DeChambeau returns following a triumph in Vegas. Woods will remain the center of attention even if he doesn’t play. A year has passed since his accident. “Making progress,” he captioned a golf club swinging video.
FEDEXCUP: The Hero World Challenge does not offer FedExCup points; nonetheless, five previous FedExCup champions are in the field, including Sam Burns, who is now second in the standings.
Points for world rankings will be awarded.
COURSE: Albany Golf Course (7,309 yards, par 72) (yardage subject to change). The Ernie Els-designed Albany GC, now in its sixth year as host, has a linksy feel to it, with windswept dunes and cunning water hazard placements. Over the last five Hero World Challenge events at Albany, the average winning score has been just under 20.

Last year’s winner, Henrik Stenson, became the third non-American to achieve it in four years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed until 2020. Stenson won for the first time since the Wyndham Championship in 2017. With an eagle on the par-5 15th, he dealt the final blow.On the back nine of the final round, Stenson hit a 5-wood from 259 yards to within 8 inches of the cup.Rahm was attempting to become the first player to win the Hero twice in a row since Tiger Woods (2006-07), but he came up one shot short. Patrick Reed was third, and Woods, the tournament’s host, was fourth. Eleven of the Americans in the field, including Woods, boarded a charter jet to Australia to compete in the Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne, which the US Team won after a heroic Sunday Singles comeback.
