If you watch the Sentry Tournament of Champions this weekend, you’ll notice that many of the players have a green ribbon attached to their clothing. Unfortunately, it’s in memory of someone who died recently.
Alayna Galea’i-Finau, Tony Finau’s wife, recently lost her father, Tipa Galeai.
Tony organized the memorial, and his teammates were delighted to show their support for him and his family during this tough time.
Alayna expressed her gratitude for the gesture in an Instagram post.
“There are no words to describe how much this means to my family and me, and how appreciative we are!” A month ago, Dad was so pleased to be arranging his trip to Maui! THANK YOU ALL, from the bottom of my heart, for this lovely tribute and for taking Dad with you on the course today!”
