For the first time in history, the LPGA will spend two weeks in April in the Los Angeles area.
For the fourth year in a row, the JTBC LA Open will be held at Wilshire Country Club on April 21-24, followed by the first JTBC Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club on April 28–May 1. Both events will feature 144 of the world’s greatest female golfers competing for $1.5 million in prize money.
The “LA LPGA Dual Ticket” — a weeklong grounds pass that includes entrance to both tournaments – was announced by tournament organisers, marking the first time spectators will be able to purchase a single pass for back-to-back LPGA events. For the first time since 2019, the LA Open will bring back fans. Tickets are available for purchase on the tournament’s websites.
Additionally, any active, retired, reserve, and veteran military, fire, police, and EMS professionals, as well as their immediate families, are eligible for up to four complimentary tickets to both events.
“We are very happy to expand our footprint in Los Angeles for the first time with back-to-back events, adding to the tour’s already prominent presence in Southern California,” said LPGA commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan. “We want to express our gratitude to our friends and longtime colleagues at JTBC for allowing us to bring the stars of the women’s game to the heart of Los Angeles, one of the world’s major broadcast markets.”
