We’ve all been in that situation. Countless swing thoughts flit around in our heads, causing us to pause above the golf ball, as if staring at the goal were the same as staring at Medusa herself.
On Saturday at the Honda Classic, Brian Stuard appeared to be having the same issue.
Stuard, who was teamed with Brooks Koepka, a player who is notorious for his slow play, was about to make his approach shot into the green when nothing happened. It seemed as if a record was skipping on the player, with the same line repeating itself over and over.
Waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle Look. Waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle, waggle It’s quite difficult to watch.
I’m curious to hear Koepka’s thoughts on the tempo of play on Saturday.
