Marc Leishman joins us on today’s episode of “Professional Golfers, They’re Just Like Us!”
Following a series of four consecutive birdies, the six-time PGA Tour winner found himself in a greenside bunker on the par-3 16th at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm during the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship’s first round on Thursday. For his third shot, Leishman didn’t have much green to work with, and he made matters worse with a sand mishit that ended out in the ocean, nearly taking out one of his playing partners, Corey Conners.

Leishman took a shot from the bunker and went up-and-down for a triple-bogey six, but he had a short memory and recovered with a birdie on the 18th to turn in at 1 under.
