Viktor Hovland has re-entered the Official World Golf Ranking top ten after winning the World Wide Technology Championship in Mayakoba for the second time.
Hovland climbed seven ranks to No. 10 on the list. This is a career high for him, since he was ranked 10th for one week in early August.
The Norwegian replaces Jordan Spieth, who returned to the top 10 after a three-year sabbatical last week. Spieth is now ranked No. 11 in the world.
Justin Thomas moved up to No. 6 after a solo third in Mexico. The only other change among the top ten was that. Carlos Ortiz improved from 78th to 49th place thanks to his second-place finish in his own nation.
Thomas Pieters advanced 55 places to No. 74 after winning the Portugal Masters, his first European Tour victory since 2019.
