Cheyenne Woods and Aaron Hicks revealed on Instagram that they are expecting a baby boy. Last October, Woods, a veteran tour pro and Tiger Woods’ niece, got engaged to Hicks, a center fielder for the New York Yankees.
“Surprise!” Woods expressed himself on Instagram. “2022 is going to be a fantastic year.”
The couple met in early 2020 when Woods interviewed Hicks for her podcast, “Birdies Not BS,” and began dating later that spring, according to Golfweek.
The Wake Forest graduate won the 2014 Volvik RACV Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour, and in 2021, she played a hybrid schedule of LPGA and Symetra Tour events, as well as serving as an analyst and on-course broadcast reporter.
Woods caddied for Hicks, 32, when he competed in the celebrity section of the LPGA’s Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions in 2021. Hicks had just caddied for Woods at a Cactus Tour event, which she had won by 16 strokes.
Hicks, who played golf from the age of five to thirteen before switching to baseball, credits Woods for dramatically enhancing his short game.
“When we’re home (in Arizona), we basically play a lot and grab everyone’s money,” Woods explained.
